Dean Hughes

Dean Hughes is a physiotherapist with a strong passion for helping people recover from injury, reduce pain, and return to the activities that matter most to them. He believes in combining evidence-based treatment with a personalised approach, ensuring every rehabilitation plan is tailored to each individual’s goals and lifestyle.

Dean has gained experience across a wide range of clinical settings, including:

• Musculoskeletal physiotherapy
• Community rehabilitation
• Orthopaedics
• Neurology
• Elderly care

His primary interest is musculoskeletal physiotherapy, working with clients experiencing back pain, neck pain, sports injuries, tendon problems, joint pain, and post-operative rehabilitation. He enjoys helping people not only recover from injury but build the strength and confidence to reduce the risk of future problems.

Alongside physiotherapy, Dean has an extensive background in combat sports, having competed professionally in kickboxing and trained in Muay Thai, kickboxing, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, and mixed martial arts. His firsthand understanding of training, performance, and injury rehabilitation allows him to relate to both recreational exercisers and competitive athletes throughout their recovery journey.

Outside the clinic, Dean enjoys strength training, mixed martial arts, and continually expanding his knowledge to provide the highest standard of care for his patients.
