Founder and Chief Physiotherapist
Lois Dolman
Lois, the founder of Restored Eden Physiotherapy, brings nearly two decades of diverse physiotherapy experience, enriched by her remarkable journey as a missionary in China. During her 12 years in China, Lois not only managed a foster home for orphans but also immersed herself in various projects aiding disabled children and those in need. This experience provided her with a unique perspective, fostering a holistic approach to pain management.
Upon her return to England in 2018, Lois's expertise expanded extensively, encompassing palliative care, urgent response, paediatrics, neurology, orthopaedics, hippotherapy (physio whilst riding horses), and, primarily, musculoskeletal physiotherapy.
Having spent significant time in Eastern cultures, Lois integrates her understanding of these practices with her cultural background and UK training. This blend of experiences sets her apart with a well-rounded outlook, allowing her to provide comprehensive, holistic, and culturally sensitive care to her clients at Restored Eden Physiotherapy.
Lois's remarkable background, which includes being a swimming national finalist, county runner, and national biathlon finalist, equips her with profound insight into high-level competition and the rigorous training it demands. She is passionate about assisting clients in returning to their favourite sports and activities, not just to pre-injury levels but by exceeding their performance, fitness, and agility expectations.

In addition to setting up Restored Eden Physiotherapy and her passion for mission work, Lois spends most of her time being a mother to four beautiful children and going on outdoor adventures with them.
